This year's conference focused on linking traditional and translational medicine with natural sciences and technology to design, implement, and deploy intelligent systems. The 35 papers cover basics and requirements for medical decision support systems, knowledge representations and management, medical decision support solutions, and evaluation. Invited papers discuss principles and standards of knowledge representation and management enabling intelligent inter-operability, and handling intra-cluster correlations when analyzing the effects of decision support on health care process measures.
