Developed by classroom teachers and linguists of Korean, this textbook is a project of the Korean Language Education and Research Center. It is the final volume of a ten volume series providing Korean language instruction from beginning to high advanced levels. The development of the series has been guided by principles of contextualization; learner-centeredness; use of authentic materials; function/task-orientedness; balance between skill getting and skill using; and integration of speaking, listening, reading, writing, and culture. Each lesson consists of pre-reading activities, reading texts along with their English translations, new words and expressions, exercises, comprehension questions, and discussion and composition ideas.
