An examination of 17 schools by the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education led to the establishment of 14 parameters for the success of child education. Sharratt and Fullan, both with the Institute, analyzed data gathered through the responses of 507 professionals from Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia in an effort to personalize assessment, instruction, and leadership data. The book includes a glossary and 8 appendixes covering topics ranging from a matrix of scaffolded learning to guiding questions for collaborative book study.
