Filled with chapters on sustainable food production and permaculture, this volume presents the ideas and idealism behind Edible Park/Eetbaar Park, built in The Hague, the Netherlands in 2010, and designed by British architect Nils Norman. Norman contributes a chapter describing the ideas and influences for his design aesthetic, and an interview with Norman is also included. Other sections teach the reader the basic principles of permaculture, including a chapter describing how to create a mini-permaculture garden in a container.
