As younger children become more tech savvy, the need to improve e-safety and decrease cyber bullying in primary school grows. This book focuses on whole-school strategies that can improve e-safety and help schools to meet Ofsted requirements. Included are lessons plans for teachers who may not be digital natives that make e-safety fun and easy. The goal of the book is to empower students to become not just tech savvy but “competent and resilient technology users.” Appendixes include charts that break down the scheme of work by year, checklists for e-safety, and useful websites to stay up to date on threats and solutions.
