Focusing on the cinema of the French New Wake and the new Italian cinema of the late 1950 through the late 1960s, Betz (film studies, U. of London, UK) maps "the practices and paradigms of film history and of film studies alongside European art cinema to propose remappings that are at the same time institutional and geopolitical."
