Greene is the author of numerous articles, reviews, and books on rhetorical theory, writing in academic disciplines, and the intersections of race, ethnicity, and educational achievements. He offers a collection of eight essays originally presented at a conference sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English Assembly for Research in 2006. Collectively the authors seek to reframe the debate surrounding underachievement and low graduation rates of African American, Latino/a, Native American, and students of Asian descent.
