The textbook describes and illustrates some of the tools commonly used to analyze transportation data, at a level suitable for graduate and advanced undergraduate students in such transportation-related disciplines as engineering, economics, urban and regional planning, and sociology. There is enough material for two three-unit semester courses on analytical methods. It can also serve as a reference for professionals in these fields who are trying to solve transportation problems. After laying out the fundamentals, it covers continuous dependent variable models, count and discrete dependent variable models, and other statistical methods. No date is noted for the first edition.
