<DIV></DIV> <P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal>One of the foremost chroniclers of pre–World War II American urbanism, painter and printmaker Edward Hopper depicted hauntingly isolated figures in diners, railroad cars, and rented rooms at the beginning of the twentieth century.
