She first delineates activities for social work settings, including incorporating nature into therapeutic practice, relaxation and mindfulness, self-esteem and positive connections, and nature-based therapy and grief work, then outlines activities for parents and care providers to use in the areas of gardening for well-being, general outdoor activities, blacktop activities, the beach, the forest, fields and grassy areas, puddles and mud, rivers and streams, snow, and bringing nature indoors.
