Authors Pohl and Wagner present an examination of combat knife varieties, carrying systems for combat knives, and knife combat techniques. The authors have organized the eleven chapters that make up the main body of their text in two parts devoted to chapters written by each of the authors. Part A, written by Dietmar Pohl, contains seven chapters focused on knives for self-defense, training knives, self-defense against dogs, and a wide variety of other related subjects.
