<DIV>This book explores two main models of Information Literacy (IL): the Society of College, National and University Libraries (SCONUL) Seven Pillars of Information Skills and the IL competencies identified by the American Library Association (ALA ). The author provides practical examples for the development of IL skills identified by these models using printed and web-based resources and outlines the process of integrating IL provision within a program of study.</div>
