<DIV>Galton and Simpson have chosen four favorite episodes from their classic radio series. <I>The Conjurer</I> sees Hancock taking up magic, and hired by Sid to put on a show at Dartmoor Prison. Little does he know that it's only a front for an escape plan...In <I>Cyrano de Hancock</I>, Sid is besotted with Miss Pugh, and asks for Hancock's helpin expressing his love, while <I>The Diary</I> finds Hancock looking back at 1956, and falling into a reverie where he imagines himself as a surgeon, a lion tamer and a test pilot. Finally, in <I>The Impersonator</I>, Hancock hears an actor in a cornflake commercial imitating his voice, and promptly takes the impersonator to court. Once again, the master of misery is supported by a star cast including Sid James,Bill Kerr, Kenneth Williams and Hattie Jacques, and four sparkling scripts by the masters of mirth, Galton and Simpson.</DIV>
