Eleven dance educators, choreographers, critics, and scholars representing a spectrum of international perspectives on pedagogy, the body, performance, dance, and culture contribute 12 chapters addressing dance as a way of affirming specific cultural traditions and experiences and as a means of expressing the universality of humanity.
