<DIV><DIV>Recent research suggests that the mental health of today's adolescents is deteriorating just as they find themselves increasingly demonized in the popular press. The first edition of Stephen Briggs' <I>Working with Adolescents</I> won praise for its success in introducing the reader to the inner world of contemporary adolescence.
