He considers the high-speed evolution of the visual media-typified by digital image creation and processing-to be one of the most exciting aspects of life in the early 21st century.<BR><BR>He moved to California in 1997 and began working seriously in digital photography in 1999. He currently lives in and works as a photographer in San Jose. He has written a number of books, two of which won the prestigious "Fotobuchpreis" in 2004 and 2005 in Germany.
