In 2004's The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions about the Bush Administration and 9/11, Griffin (co-director, Center for Process Studies, Claremont Graduate U.) compiled and summarized the body of questions raised by "the 9/11 truth movement" that cast doubt upon the official government narrative about the September 11th, 2001, terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center. Individually, the questions ranged from valuable to just plain silly, but seem to have been intended to stand together as a body and imply active US government complicity in the attacks in order to provide a justification for the "War on Terror" and for attacks on civil rights. Now, Griffin, feeling that certain portions of that work are in need of updating in light of new facts, but not wishing to sacrifice its brevity and readability, has authored this volume as a chapter-by-chapter commentary on that volume that both incorporates updates and offers a simultaneous critique of The 9/11 Commission Report.
