This work collects international reports and research papers on trade policies for sustainable development of the global economy. Chapters explore topics such as policy modeling and simulation, energy prices and real exchange rates in an integrated global market, tax competition among nation states, and the environmental impacts of free trade. Other subjects examined are optimal tariff when technological innovations spill over to foreign competitors, and regional integration and international trade clusters of the enlarged EU.
