We know that certain technologies, including distance learning and e-learning can be made to work in individualized instruction, but we are still working on trying to understand how technology can enhance real learning. This collection of 17 descriptions of contemporary practices and developmental trends describes how new technologies work inside and out of the classroom and how they can be used with contemporary pedagogical practices.
