Covering the historical development of the foundations of modern OT theory, its status today, and a look toward its future, the revised text includes new chapters on the intentional relationship model, the functional group model, cognitive behavior therapy, therapeutic reasoning, and activity analysis; a case example for each of the eight models presented in the text; explanations from international therapists describing how they incorporate the models in practice; updated terminology from the OT Practice Framework and the World Health Organization's International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health; and real-world advice from client stories opening most chapters.
