Two-page spreads on individual breeds contain information on origins and characteristics of the breed, along with a large color photo noting distinguishing physical features, plus several other color photos of the breed in action, and a color origin map. There are also pages highlighting famous horse and rider partnerships or significant places in the horse world. A glossary is included. There is no subject index.
