This narrative history focuses on Luciano's involvement in organized prostitution and the expansion of the international heroin trade. The organizational structure of New York City's prostitution rings, Luciano's arrest in 1936, and the attempt to frame a member of prosecutor, Thomas E Dewey's staff are discussed in detail.
