They view assessment as a continuous process that can inform decisions about changes to instruction and intervention. They focus on student academic and social behavior outcomes and discuss assessment at the whole-school level and tools for use in individualized and specialized settings, including using extant data, systematic direct observation, and direct behavior ratings and scales.
