Caporaso (political science, U. of Washington) and Madeira (graduate student, political science, U. of Washington) focus on important questions relevant to globalization, questions such as how significant borders are now in a globalized world. The areas addressed include theories of global political economy, domestic responses to globalization pressures, globalization and governance, international institutions and the global economy, and winners and losers.
