Patricia Leavy, Ph.D. (2002) in Sociology, Boston College, is Associate Professor of Sociology at Stonehill College. She is the Founding Director of the Gender Studies Program at Stonehill College (2004-2008) and the President of the New England Sociological Association (2009).
