In addition to the discussion of the music, Fallows follows the development of music publishing that was occurring and Josquin's experiences with publishers. This is an exceptionally fine work of publishing, printed in a tall, elegant format (7.5x11.75") on heavy paper and illustrated with a group of color plates and many examples of scores.
