Reprinted from the 1990 edition, this volume is filled with full-page color plates of the photographs Goldsworthy makes of his purposely ephemeral artworks, as well as some of his drawings and proposals. Projects created between 1976- 1990 are included, created in both indoor and outdoor settings in the UK, Japan, and Canada. The text accompanying each set of photographs features Goldsworthy's own commentary on the project or theme, as well as a description of the project and its reception by other writers. A catalogue raisonne of the photographs, bibliography, 1987 interview with John Fowles, and chronology of the artist's career are included. Not indexed.
