After describing the process of seamless assessment and how to make up new vignettes on your own, they offer samples for primary, intermediate and middle school students and teachers with assessment strategies, grade levels, learning goals, National Science Education Standards, topics and forms for each. The samples also show how students create indicators of progress such as notebooks and how they work together to make inquiries and evaluate findings.
