Applied linguist, psychologist, and educational anthropologist Cazden (she's now emerita with the Harvard Graduate School of Education) has updated her text to reflect recent changes in perspectives and research. The text is designed to provide teachers with a reference and resource on student-teacher discourse and ways to achieve greater equity in what students learn.
