Written as a kind of extended annotated bibliography with commentary organized chronologically, this is a massive (2-volume) work. Kealy (scripture, Duquesne U.) seems to have omitted no mention of John and his gospel from the first mention in the second century to the mountain of scholarly work of the 20th; more impressive, his commentary indicates that he's read and digested it all.
