Scott, the only son of Arctic explorer Robert Scott, was a motor torpedo boat commander during WWII. His firsthand accounts of battles, first published in 1945, are told from the British perspective, and illustrated with numerous b&w historical photos, plus original b&w drawings of personnel and color paintings by the author recreating battle scenes.
