McCall (curriculum and instruction, U. of Wisconsin, Oshkosh) has 28 years of teaching experience, at the elementary and university levels. Ristow has 30-plus years of experience as an elementary school teacher. Here they explain their collaborative project undertaken in Oshkosh during the 1997-98 school year, using Ristow's fourth grade classroom to develop a multicultural curriculum for teaching state history.
