About ten percent of the population has Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS), with symptoms ranging from the annoying to the agonizing. In some cases the creeping, crawling, burning or aching keeps them awake all night. For others the discomfort interrupts family life, social life, and even careers. The authors acknowledge that the best that can be done is managing the symptoms, but they do offer hope that the condition can be reduced to endurable levels.
