They discuss gerontology matters, depression and later life, clinical assessment and treatment, why IPT is effective, the structure of IPT and problems that may arise, and termination of therapy. The bulk of the volume uses clinical cases to illustrate how to use IPT in practice with grief, interpersonal role disputes, role transitions, and interpersonal deficits.
