Farber (law and energy and resources) and O'Connell (law, both U. of California-Berkeley) have assembled 14 essays exploring the critical role that public choice theory plays in the doctrine as well as the scholarship of public law. Drawing on a range of social sciences and taking a broad view of both public choice and public law, they cover foundations, constitutional law, agency design and action, and specific statutory schemes.
