While extensive data on the effects of blue light phototherapy for jaundice has been gathered, relatively little is known about the effects of ultraviolet radiation (UVR) on infant skin. This brief volume reviews both existing studies in pediatric dermatology and epidemiological evidence to consider the risks associated with UVR exposure and its likely long-term results.
