Stafolos Keep has fallen! The victorious Sem ape-men cheer as columns of black smoke rise from the stronghold. The lords of Mongaul are furious. Such impudence - such success - must not go unpunished; the simian hordes must be exterminated.<BR>Quickly, an expeditionary force is culled from the border patrols. The leader of the elite White Knights, General Amnelis, assumes command. The duchy's troops must venture into the wastelands of Nospherus to seek out the home of the barbarous Sem and mark them for death.<BR>But Amnelis has a second mission as well: recapturing the orphaned royal twins of Parros and their mysterious companion, a warrior with the head of a leopard, who have crossed into Nospherus ahead of the advancing Mongaulis.<BR>In the fell no-man's-land they meet, pieces of a divine puzzle.
