Flotilla 13 (Shayetet 13 in Hebrew, or S'13) is the elite Israeli Naval Commando Unit of the Israel Defense Forces. Considered one of the three main Special Forces units in the Israeli military, along with Sayeret Matkal (the General Staff Reconnaissance Unit) and Shaldag Unit (the Air Force Commando Unit), Flotilla 13 specializes in maritime hostage rescue and counterterrorist missions.
