<p>The sixth edition of <b>Descriptive Physical Oceanography </b>provides an introduction to descriptive physical oceanography for advanced undergraduates and graduate students. The emphasis is on large-scale oceanography, based mainly in observations, with some topics from waves and coastal oceanography also included.
