Baross (film studies and critical theory, Trent U., Ontario) collects essays that engage critically with a selected group of writings by French philosopher Derrida (1930-2004). Her central theme is image and its force, productivity, memory, in relation to writing and history. She contrasts two versions of the image: a memory of the future, and the image and the trait.
