This special issue publication explores indigenous involvement in archaeology and the wide range of areas where archaeological activities have implications for indigenous concerns. Representing one of the most dynamic aspects of public archaeology, linking legal rights, ethics, people and places, this publication addresses key concepts in the ongoing debate over access, classification and use of ancient materials.<BR>Conservation, Identity and Ownership in Indigenous Archaeology includes contributions from a global mix of expert authors, combining archaeologists and anthropologists with researchers and representatives of indigenous cultures.
