The contributors to this book examine ways in which dialogue, education, and critical examination of the media can shed light on the conflict between Israel and Palestine, and elicit positive change. Education, media, and dialogue are interrelated, for example, in the medium of an Israeli history school textbook which portrays the Palestinians as "other." The authors seek to present voices of real people involved in and affected by the conflict, particularly those voices generally excluded from the dominant narrative.
