The 34 chapters (five more than in the previous edition) follow the flow of the research process from initially choosing a topic to negotiating with journal editors. New topics in research conceptualization and data processing including multilevel research, computational modeling, and meta-analyses is included in this new edition, along with such standard topics as bibliographic research, scale development, conducting surveys, statistical analysis, and writing in American Psychological Association style.
