This book emerged from a research center at Roskilde University in Denmark that explores international processes in culture and language. Internationalization at a university is generally used to mean everyone speaking English, but the studies here consider it as a relationship between many cultures and languages within the university, opening the possibility of diversity as an education resource. They cover English as a higher education lingua franca, when it is also the most used local language, constructing international perspectives in student group work, academic writing and literacy in a transnational perspective, and east and west at the international university.
