This workbook allows students to practice the skills they learned from the Speech to Print textbook in an undergraduate language class or a graduate course in reading and language. Material is keyed to chapters in the Speech to Print textbook, with a variety of exercises supplied: fill-in, multiple choice, matching, spelling error analysis, and transcription. This second edition contains 80 new or revised exercises, and new quizzes to reinforce knowledge on language building blocks, including phonetics, phonology, and morphology. There is also a new layout for this edition. The workbook can be used for pre-service teacher education courses and for in-service professional development. There is no subject index.
