<P> <i>Hitchcock Annual: Volume 17</i> contains essays on two of Hitchcock's most well-known films, <i>Notorious</i> and <i>The Birds</i>, and two of his lesser-known works, <i>Juno and the Paycock</i> and <i>Stage Fright</i>. It also includes a detailed study of the unused score for <i>Frenzy</i> by Henry Mancini, an examination of Hitchcock's presence in contemporary art installations and experimental films, and a review essay on two recent books on Hitchcock.</P>
