Cannon, Alexander, Werner (all The Ivymount School, Rockville, Maryland), Kenworth and Anthony's (both Children's National Medical Center, Washington, DC) classroom-based, comprehensive curriculum provides special educators and classroom teachers with strategies for helping students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) develop flexibility and goal-setting skills for everyday home, school, and community situations. Created for use in a weekly, school-based group, the ready-to-use materials for 27 lessons are organized into ten topics teaching students what flexibility is, its importance in everyday life, how to be flexible, what goals are and how to achieve them, and learning how to want to be flexible and goal directed.
