<p><div>Photographs preserve the past, while archaeology unearths what has been preserved. In <i>Photography and Archaeology</i>, Frederick Bohrer examines some of history's most famous archaeological excavations, as well as lesser-known finds, from the Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
