Garrett (retired civil engineer and antique weapons expert) offers a careful examination of the fortresses, cannons, and small arms that were in use in the tiny country of Macau spanning a period of 450 years. While remaining artifacts are plentiful, they have been researched very little. In describing the installations and armament, the author also provides a history of Macau, including numerous photographs and illustrations.
