Fischer, curator of the design department at the MAA, has written essays on Meier's furniture, tableware, ceramics, collage, and sculpture, examples of which are featured in high-quality b&w and color plates. A final, lengthy section describes the MAA, its history, construction, and goals as a museum and educational institution.
